The most important dates are:
- For rights holders: declaration of new printed works (Print distribution) and of new contributions on radio and television (Broadcast distribution) as well as of new exhibitions (Expo distribution) – on an ongoing basis, at the latest by the end of January. Data collection for Online distribution is completed for publishing houses in March and for authors in May.
- For companies and organizations: the binding deadlines for copying levies are stated in the letter that you receive from ProLitteris. For further licenses, the dates and deadlines depend on the individual case.
- For rights holders who are also members of the cooperative: the General Assembly is usually held on the last Saturday in June, and for people of retirement age the deadline for submitting the last legally binding assessment of federal tax is the end of the year, provided that you wish to claim an old-age pension.
